Avital Ronell

 

Avital Ronell is Professor of German and Comparative Literature at New York University. She has studied in Princeton, Berkeley, NYU, but also in Paris with Jacques Derrida and Hélène Cixous. Avital Ronell has translated several Derrida’s works. She is a founding editor of the journal Qui Parle. Her most recent books are

  • Loser Sons: Politics and Authority (2012),
  • Lignes de Front (2010),
  • The ÜberReader: Selected Works of Avital Ronell (2008).

Avital Ronell is Jacques Derrida Chair and Professor of Philosophy at The European Graduate School (EGS) of Saas Fee. She is one of the leading figures of continental philosophy and French theory in the world.
